The present study was conducted with the aim of the relationship between self-compassion and the quality of married life in couples with marital conflicts. This cross-sectional research was a type of correlational study; For this purpose, a sample of 140 people was selected based on Fidel and Tabachnik\'s formula with the purposeful sampling method from among the couples referring to counseling and family therapy centers in Tehran. Marital life quality scale, revised form (RADS) and self-compassion scale (SCS) were used to collect data. Due to the corona disease, questionnaires were distributed to the subjects in both printed (30 people) and electronic (110 people) forms. Data analysis was done with Pearson correlation and multiple regression statistical methods and using SPSS20 software. The results in the whole sample showed that the relationship between the components of self-compassion and the quality of married life is significant. Also, the components of isolation, mindfulness and extreme assimilation and self-compassion (total score) can predict the quality of married life (P < 0.05). (P<0.05). It seems that self-compassion and its components are one of the main indicators of improving the quality of married life and stable marriage, and it plays a decisive role in the quality of married life of couples. Therefore, considering the role of self-compassion variables, family counselors and psychologists can pay more attention to these variables in discussing and investigating the treatment of marital life problems.
