Some of the developments of the Safavid era, including the political and military conflicts between the Safavid kings and the Ottomans, as well as the existence of a common enemy, brought Europe closer to Iran, and after that, travelers came to Iran in the form of representatives and political agents, some of whom traveled a lot during their travels.
