The Relationship between Work-Family Conflict and Marital Relationship Quality among Married Female Teachers During the Covid-19 Pandemic: The Mediating Role of Perceived Social
Due to the conditions that arose during the Covid-19 epidemic and due to these conditions, there were fundamental changes in the type and form of teacher training. In this research, the mediating role of perceived social support in the relationship between work-family conflict and the quality of marital relationship among married female teachers in the period of covid-19 was investigated.
This research was a descriptive correlational study. The research community was formed by married female teachers of Mashhad city in 2021, who participated in the research through available sampling of 283 people, and were measured using Carlson's (2000) family-work conflict questionnaires, the Busby marital quality scale, and the multidimensional scale of perceived social support. became
The findings of the present study showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between family work conflict and marital relationship quality (p<0.01).Also, the results showed that the social support variable has a significant mediating role between family work conflict and the quality of marital relationships (p<0.01). Socialization from family, friends, and others can reduce the impact of work-family conflict on the quality of their marital relationships.
