Relationship Between Empowerment with Learning and Organizational Commitment in Employees

Abstract:

The main purpose of the research is to investigate the relationship between empowerment and learning and organizational commitment among the employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Mazandaran province. The current research is descriptive-correlation type. The statistical population of the research was made up of all the employees of the General Department of Sports and Youth of Mazandaran province, totaling 152 people, who were selected as a whole. Research data were collected through three questionnaires of empowerment by Spiritzer (1995), organizational learning by Schwant and Marcorat (2000), and organizational commitment by Allen and Meier (1990). The data was analyzed by Pearson's correlation test. The findings showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between organizational empowerment and organizational learning and organizational empowerment and organizational commitment. Also, a significant and positive relationship has been observed between organizational learning and organizational commitment. The result of the research showed that organizational empowerment has an effect on all dimensions of organizational learning, so whatever the management tries to strengthen those factors that have a positive relationship with each other, it can raise employees in the organization who can come up with creative and innovative ideas.
