Many media and sociologists and sociologists consider the media to be the cause of social change and believe that the media play an important role in assessing needs in representing the right perspective for targeting, leading the way in identifying opportunities and threats. Development in the development process, while directing the decisions of policy makers to adopt the appropriate strategy, can play a key role in achieving comprehensive development in the field of agriculture. In this regard, the present study was conducted with the aim of recognizing the "representation of Iran's agricultural capacity in the news reports of 21 TV". This research has been selected by content analysis method and with the statistical population of news reports broadcast in the news section of 21 Sima with agricultural issues in 4 months (June, July, August and September 1399) and by probabilistic sampling method and systematically. Is. The results showed that the subjects of "agriculture" with 21.5 had the highest and fisheries and aquaculture with 3.8 had the lowest representation of potential and actual agricultural capacities. Fifty-seven percent of all reports on agricultural capacity were related to the slogan of the year (production leap). The "central issue" approach with 60.8 had the highest rate of news reports in terms of target audience. Agriculture in the period was in the news reports of 21 Sima.
