Prediction of Self-Compassion Based on Marital Burnout, Emotional Divorce and Learned Helplessness Among Marital Women in Isfahan Municipality
The aim of this study was to predict self-compassion based on marital burnout, emotional divorce and learned helplessness among married women working in Isfahan Municipality. The research method was descriptive-correlation and the statistical population included all married women working in Isfahan Municipality. The calculated sample size was 216 married working women who were selected by available sampling method. Measurement tool: 26-question questionnaire of self-compassion for Reese et al. (2011), 21-question questionnaire of Pinez marital burnout (1966), 28-question questionnaire of emotional divorce Saffarinia, Adabdoost and Taghizadeh (2011) and 24-question questionnaire of learned helplessness , Filippo, Costa and Bazi (2014). Stepwise and simultaneous stepwise regression and Pearson correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. The results showed that marital burnout, emotional divorce, and learned helplessness can predict compassion, and if married working women have less marital burnout, emotional divorce, and learned helplessness, compassion can be predicted.
