Comparison of the principles of authoritarianism in Egypt and Iraq

Iraq and Egypt are known as two important countries in the Arab world. With the formation of the developments in Iraq in 2003, which led to the overthrow of the Ba'ath party, as well as the developments in Egypt in 2011, which paved the way for the revolution in this country, the concept of authoritarianism became more and more important in these countries. The main question of the present study is that what are the most important aspects of authoritarianism in Iraq and Egypt after the change of political systems in these two countries? In response to this hypothesis, although, unlike Egypt, Iraq has had more relative success in reducing the role of the military in the structure of the new political system and strengthening public participation in its policy towards transition to democracy, Egypt after the change of political system There has been more political stability in that country.
