The role of organizational intelligence and religiosity in working with the general health of military personnel
Mental health can decrease or increase under the influence of various factors. Among these factors are organizational intelligence and religiosity. Organizational intelligence is the capacity of organizations to create and use knowledge in order to adapt to the environment. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of organizational intelligence and religiosity in working with the general health of military personnel. The descriptive research method was correlation type. The statistical population of the present study included the military personnel of Ardabil city in 2019-2020, and 120 military personnel were selected as a sample using available sampling method. Goldenberg and Hiller's mental health questionnaire (1972), Karl Albrecht's organizational intelligence questionnaire (2004) and religiosity scale in Lin et al.'s work (2008) were used to collect data. Data were analyzed through Pearson's correlation coefficient test and multiple regression in SPSS software version 18.The findings showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between organizational intelligence and religiosity at work with the general health of military employees. Also, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that the general health of employees can be predicted based on the variables of organizational intelligence (P < 0.05, β = 0.062) and religiosity at work (P < 0.05, β = 0.147). . Therefore, it can be concluded that organizational intelligence and religiosity at work play a significant role in predicting the general health of military employees, and it is necessary for military managers and officials to pay special attention to this issue.
