Abstract:
Introduction
School is one of the contributing environmental factors to the psychological development of adolescents. School is the most important place to promote health among children and adolescents. In this regard, those in charge of education, seek to improve the welfare of students by providing appropriate conditions in schools.
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to predict school well-being based on educational optimism and education resilience orientation.
Methodology
The statistical population of this research was made up of 821 high school female students of secondary grade in Baneh. Due to the covid-19 pandemic and the absence of students in school, school welfare questionnaires, academic resilience (ARI) and educational optimism were provided to students as an internet link. After completing the questionnaire, their data were collected and entered into EXCEL and SPSS software for analysis.
Findings
The results of school welfare skewness with academic resilience and educational optimism showed that the distributions of variables in this study were normal.
Result
The results showed that the values of Pearson correlation coefficient for school well-being with educational optimism at level of 1% had a negative significant relationship and for school well-being with educational resilience at level of 1% had a significant positive relationship.
