Abstract:

Islamic psychology as a "doctrine " is a branch of knowledge that describes, explains, predicts, and controls human behavior and mental processes as a divine creation in physical, psychological, social, moral, and spiritual dimensions by using resources and experimental, rational, and revelatory methods. Although Islamic psychology uses the findings of other contemporary psychological doctrines as appropriate, it needs a system based on Islam or originating from Islam to describe, explain, predict, and explain key issues. Among the main topics of psychology is the discussion of psychopathology (abnormal psychology). The present study, with the aim of formulating an Islamic perspective on the topic of psychopathology, using the Thematic analysis method and focusing on Imam Hadi's letter to the people of Ahvaz in explaining the issues related to predestination, delegation, and discretion, developed a theoretical model for the harms of Psychic suggests. In this theoretical model, mental injuries are categorized into three classifications of ailments (injuries related to the health of creation, mental illnesses caused by a person's abuse of will, and environmental-social injuries). The afflictions (Ibtila) themselves are divided into categories such as afflictions in the perfection of character, afflictions in the perfection of the senses, afflictions in the stability of reason, afflictions in differentiation, and afflictions in speech and expression. Diseases caused by a person's abuse of will are also divided into belief diseases, moral diseases, behavioral problems, heart (Qalb) diseases, and diseases caused by lack of reasoning (Jonoud Jahl). Additionally, Environmental-social damages include mental damage caused by bad parenting (or caregivers), damages caused by cruel and corrupt governments and inappropriate societies, and damages caused by unreliable companions and friends. Throughout the discussion and conclusion section, the implications of the proposed theoretical model have been examined.
