Designing an Innovative Leadership Model based on Neuroscience in the Iranian Banking Industry
To design and deploy brain-friendly work environments, a style of organizational leadership based on neuroscience is needed in organizations. According to this, The main purpose of this study is to design an innovative leadership model based on neuroscience in the Iranian banking industry.
The research is developmental-applied in terms of purpose and qualitative research in terms of nature. The statistical population included management experts and experts of Iran's state banks, who were identified by targeted sampling. In this research, the grounded theory method based on systematic approach and semi-structured interview tool were used to collect data.
In causal conditions; the feeling, perception and logic of the individual of his relative importance to others, in the main phenomenon; innovative organizational climate, in the conditions of the intervener; a set of economic, political, social and cultural conditions, and a set of structural, behavioral and content factors, in the contextual conditions; interactive climate, attention to organizational values, the existence of coherent regulations, and the existence of a banking union; in relation to the main strategy; design and optimization, type of leadership style, and development of leadership skills were identified. The main consequence of this model are self-development, managerial development, and social development.
The formation of a reservoir of innovative leadership based on neuroscience, taking into account the causal conditions, intervening conditions and background conditions, can prepare the consequences of self-development, managerial development and social development so that an innovative organizational climate emerges in the organization.
