A review of the theoretical models and approaches governing the development planning environment in Iran

Iran is one of the oldest countries in development planning. Codified programs before the revolution began in 1327 and continued until 1977. But the country in these periods not only did not achieve the desired development goals, but is still at the beginning of a tumultuous path. Regarding the failure of Iran's development plans, domestic and foreign development thinkers and theorists have said that each of them can be considered from its own scientific perspective. One of the main reasons for not achieving the goals of development programs is the lack of theoretical support and development paradigm.
