Political Thought of Khajeh Nizam al-Mulk

The present study examines the political ideas of Khajeh Nizam al-Mulk Tusi. In this article, an attempt is made to take a brief look at the life of Khajeh Nizam-ol-Molk, to his political thoughts and attitudes to concepts such as justice. The important question is what is the view of Khajeh Nizam-ol-Molk about the king and the ideal ruler? Is this view derived from the political ideas of ancient Iran? Although Khajeh Nizam was a Sunni and a Jama'at in Shari'a, he did not pay attention to the caliphate in politics and ultimately considered the monarchy as the only institution for political affairs. Khajeh believed in defending and respecting the current political institutions of his society. In fact, he thinks about everything related to social and political order and stability in society, one of which is the survival and stability in the political institution that is the infrastructure or constituent of the social system he wants.
