Rule and legitimacy of obedience in Saadi thought
Political thought, in a sense, is a reflection on how power is produced and distributed in the sphere of polis. Thus, a thinker who suggests a framework for how power is produced and distributed could be counts of as a political thinkers. Accordingly, the purpose of this article is to extract the categories of sentence and obedience from the text of Gulistan with the aim of understanding the political dimensions of Saadi's thought. The findings of the study indicate that according to various codes, Saadi used the language of critical verbal actions and with a special look at the two concepts of political science, namely judgment and obedience, not only criticized the deplorable socio-political situation of his time. Data, but beyond that, has tried to criticize the most important part of old speech, especially that of Khajeh Nizam al-Mulk. Thus, in Saadi's view, in relation to and obedience, the subjects are removed and Sultan (king) is deposed.
