Explaining employee creativity through servant leadership, trust in the leader, career path and self-esteem organization-centered (Case study: Staff of the General Office of Ports and Maritime of Guilan Province)

Abstract:

Organizations have discovered the pace of technological change, global competition, and economic uncertainty as one of the key and continuous source of ideas, products and services emerging directly from creative thinking. The creativity of the organization's employees thus helps the organization's survival, when employees are creative in their work, will be able to present and apply new ideas about products, functions, services or procedures of the organization. The overall goal of this research is to examine the creativity of employees through the leadership of the servant, trust in the leader, career path and self-esteem organization-centered. The research method is descriptive and its purpose is applied. The method of data collection is field and its tool is a questionnaire. The statistical population of the study is the staff of the General Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Guilan province with 520 people. A random sampling method was used to select the statistical sample and according to the normality of the society, the sample size was estimated to be 221 by the Cochran formula. By analyzing the data, it was revealed that at the 95% level, there is a significant relationship between servant leadership and trust in the leader; trust in the leader mediates the relationship between servant leadership and employee creativity; the organization's career path and self-esteem; Moderates the trust of the leader and the creativity of the staff; as well as trusting the leader mediates the relationship between the servant leadership and the creativity of the staff.
