Examining divorce applicants' perceptions of premarital counseling
The family is the earliest and most universal social institution in terms of antiquity. It is a single family with various dimensions that has long been considered by social thinkers due to its importance and special position. The interaction of the family, how its quality of life and its effect on other components and institutions of society, has led thinkers to study this social unit with different approaches (Khodayarifard, Shahabi and Akbari Zardkhaneh, 2006). The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of divorce applicants from premarital counseling. The present study used content analysis method to analyze the data. Content analysis can be used to identify and explain why and what a phenomenon is. The results of this study showed that couples seeking divorce in the early years of their lives need a lot of education. Although in these trainings, marital relations are a priority, but they are not limited to sexual relations at the beginning of marriage and also cover various areas such as relationship with spouse, parenting, ritual and health issues.
