Teleology in some of the Pre-Islamic Poetry

Abstract:

In some of the Pre-Islamic Poetry traces of belief in after death life is detectable. On the other hand some scholars believe that the majority of the verses and poems containing religious concepts are made up by the narrators and are majorly composed after Islam and deliberately attributed to pre Islam poets. In this paper Ignorant Arabs' belief in after death life as well as authenticity of the mentioned poems is analyzed.
