Strategic Plans of the International Criminal Police of Iran (Interpol) in Dealing with Transnational and International Organized Crimes
The objective of this research is to investigate the strategic plans of the International Criminal Police of Iran (Interpol) in dealing with transnational and international organized crimes. The survey is a practical approach and the statistical population of the research is the police officers of Mazandaran province municipalities. Next, 70 individuals of them were randomly chosen via the Kargesi-Morgan table. Also, strategic efforts of Iran's Interpol and researcher-made questionnaires against transnational and international organized crimes are used to collect the data. The validity of the questionnaires is confirmed by the respected professors and the reliability is obtained by Cronbach alpha equivalent to 0.74 and 0.82, respectively. The SPSS software, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the correlation and regression coefficients, and the Friedman test are operated for the inferential analysis of the data acquired from the measurement tools. The findings indicate that the strategic efforts of Interpol have a significant impact on dealing with transnational and international organized crimes. Furthermore, the components of the strategic efforts of Iran's Interpol in dealing with transnational and international organized crimes have a significant result. According to the Friedman test, the highest mean value is devoted to technical and specialized cooperation with domestic police organizations and international organizations, and finally improving, strengthening, and efficiently equipping judicial and police institutions.
