Sociological Investigation of Social and Cultural Factors Affecting Social Alienation (Case Study: District 4 of Qazvin city)

The main premise of the research is that increasing social distance between young people and socializing institutions leads to increasing social alienation. The purpose of the research is to investigate the factors affecting social alienation among the youth of Qazvin region, which was carried out in the form of a survey in 2021. The sample population includes the youth of the 2th region of Qazvin city, who were selected from the total population of 384 people by random sampling method and using the Lane table. The required information was collected using a questionnaire made by the researcher. The data of the questionnaires were also analyzed with the help of SPSS software. In general, the obtained results show that there is a significant relationship between the independent variables of social distance of the individual with socializing institutions, media, socio-economic base, age and gender with the degree of social alienation.
