The Effect of Choice Theory Training on Increasing the Emotional Expression of Female High School Students
The aim of this study was to teach the theory of choice to increase the emotional expression of female high school students.
Design ژStudy Semi Experimental Type Pre-Test-Post-Test Follow-up With Control group. The sample consisted of 40 female high school students who were randomly selected. Selection theory training was conducted for 12 sessions of 120 minutes on the "test" group, and after the "sessions" were completed, the test was performed. The King & Emmons (1990) Emotional Expression Questionnaire was used to collect information.
Findinngs:
The results of analysis of covariance showed that the teaching of choice theory was "effective" in increasing the emotional expression of high school female students.
Therefore, considering the effectiveness of selection theory training on promoting emotional expression in the hands of education staff, it is recommended to use the selection theory training program to improve students' well-being.
