Studying the people's level of satisfaction with sheriff's performance and checkpoints in North Khorasan province

The purpose of this study was to determine the satisfaction of stakeholders with the performance of police stations in North Khorasan province in 2017. In terms of purpose, the study is applied research. In terms of methodology, with regard to the subject of the research and its aims, it is a descriptive survey method. The statistical population of this study includes all stakeholders of sheriff's services and outposts including institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations, companies and residents of North Khorasan province. The statistical sample of the study included 2000 members of the statistical population. In order to scrutinize in determining the sample size, considering the importance of in-depth analysis of the results of each city, each city was considered as an independent statistical community. The sampling method of this study is probability proportional random sampling method. Partial goals of the study include identifying stakeholders’ satisfaction with: police competence, creating security, maintaining order and security, combating crime and corruption, crime detection, educating and informing people, crime prevention, correctness, accuracy and speed of police action, and Identifying stakeholders' satisfaction with the resources and facilities of the police stations and police stations in the province. The results of the study included that the stakeholders are satisfied with sheriff's offices and police stations in preventing crime, combating crime and corruption in maintaining order and security in the sense of security and police competence, resources and facilities, accuracy and correctness of the sheriff's operation.
