Sociological study of factors influencing youth lifestyle in Shirvan city

The present study was conducted as a sociological study of factors influencing the life style of youth in the city of Shirvan. The purpose of this research is to answer the question which factors affecting the lifestyle of young people? This study uses the survey method and its field is Shirvan city. The statistical population of the study is 29466 people and the sample size is 380 young people aged between 15-29 years old which were selected through multi-stage cluster sampling method. In order to collect the data, a researcher- made questionnaire was used and the reliability of the measure was 0.836 based on Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. According to the results, it was confirmed that there is a significant relationship between cultural consumption, leisure activities, friendship, religiosity and lifestyle of young people.
