Investigating the effect of spiritual leadership on employee loyalty with the moderating role of trust in the organization(Study case: Iran Airport and Air Navigation Company)
The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of spiritual leadership style on employee loyalty with the role of moderating trust in the organization. The statistical population of the research is the employees of the airport and air navigation company, and the sample size was obtained using the Cochran formula equal to 284 people by simple random sampling method.
The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of data collection method. And three localized questionnaires of spiritual leadership style, employee loyalty and trust in the organization were used as research tools. The reliability of the spiritual leadership questionnaire was estimated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal to 0.82, employee loyalty equal to 0.82 and trust in the organization 0.79. Also, structural equations were used to test the hypotheses.
The research results showed that spiritual leadership has an effect on employee loyalty, the effect of spiritual leadership on loyalty is equal to 0.41, as well as the sub-components of spiritual leadership (spiritual vision, hope and faith, organizational commitment, love for one another, membership, meaningfulness and performance feedback) have an effect on loyalty,
The results of the research showed that the effect of trust in the organization on employee loyalty is significant, path analysis based on structural equations confirmed the moderating role of trust in the organization between the two variables of spiritual leadership and employee loyalty.
