Paradigm pattern of shooting training development in Iran's Educational police centers with emphasis on psychological factors
The purpose of the research is to design a paradigm model for the development of shooting in Iranian police training centers with a psychological approach.
In terms of strategy, it is qualitative, and in terms of purpose and nature, it is developmental-applied based on the foundation's data theorizing method with Strauss and Corbin's systematic approach. The participants in the research were academic experts in sports management, law enforcement sciences, educational centers, professors and police shooting instructors with theoretical (judgmental) sampling, and theoretical saturation was achieved during the interview with the 20th expert. The research tool was the coding sheets according to the instructions of the researcher, whose validity was confirmed by the members of the research group, and its reliability was calculated using the P-Scott criterion (agreement coefficient between coders) of 0.95.
Data analysis was done with open, central and selective coding of documents and semi-structured interviews to identify the categories of central phenomenon, causal conditions, background, intervention, strategies and consequences.
The antecedents and outcomes of the development of shooting training in police training centers with a psychological approach can be useful and practical in the effectiveness and success of police forces in operational missions. Therefore, the development of shooting of police forces requires more educational, structural, communication-equipment, management and technical reforms.
