Abstract:
Background and Aim

The city of Bostan, at Khuzestan province, and 70 surrounding villages, were captured by the Iraqi Ba'athist army at the beginning of the imposed war. On 8 December 1980, the city of Bostan and its 70 affiliated villages were liberated by the Iranian Islamic forces. Combined with previous experiences and new initiatives, the Behdari-e-razmi has fully operationalized the medical and emergency support of the conflict (Tarigh-al-Ghods).

Methods

This article was assembled from the “Oral History Martial Medicine Database” at the “Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense Museum”, “Oral History Interviews” and “Scientific available resources review”.

Results

“The Conexii Field Hospital” was operational for the first time in this conflict, and the experiences and results were very valuable.

Conclusion

“Movable desert hospital structures” are widely used in terms of war situations and disasters. Weak security and facilities, are still the biggest problems with these structures.
