The role of Psychological Cohesion and Spiritual-religious capital in Predicting Infertility Stress
Infertility is considered a psychological crisis in affected people, which can cause various psychological problems such as infertility stress; therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of psychological cohesion and Spiritual-religious capital in predicting infertility stress.
The present research method was descriptive-correlation. The research population included all infertile women referred to Mallard Infertility Center in the first six months of 2023, 120 eligible people were selected using the available sampling method and they used Antonsky (1987) Psychological Cohesion Questionnaires, Golparvar et al (2014) Spiritual Capital Questionnaires. & infertility stress Newton et al. (1999) responded. To analyze the data, Pearson's correlation test and multiple regressions were used with the help of SPSS version 22 software.
The results showed that the correlation between psychological cohesion and Spiritual-religious capital and their components with infertility stress is negative and significant (p<0.01). Also, psychological cohesion and Spiritual-religious capital explain 53.4% of the variance of infertility stress.
Based on the results, by increasing the mental cohesion and Spiritual-religious capital of infertile women, families, the health and treatment team, as well as health policy makers, we can take steps to reduce the stress of infertility.
