Investigating the effect of positive thinking skill training on job satisfaction and happiness of elementary school teachers in Tangistan city
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of positive thinking skills training on the job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in Tangistan.
The current research method was quasi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the present study was 471 primary school teachers in Tangistan. The sample size of the research was 30 people by sampling method. The data collection tool included Smith, Kendall and Hallin's job satisfaction questionnaire (1959).
The average score of each component of job satisfaction, i.e, the nature of work, colleagues, promotion, salary, work environment and supervision in the participants of the experimental group in the post-test stage is more than the control group, in other words, it can be said that the positive skill training Thinking led to the improvement of each component of job satisfaction, i.e, the nature of work, colleagues, promotion, salary, work environment and supervision in the participants of the experimental group compared to the control group.
The general conclusion of the research showed that by strengthening the teaching of positive thinking skills among teachers, it is possible to improve their job satisfaction in schools.
