Recognizing and investigating quantitative and qualitative indicators effective in urban green space planning (case study: Region 1 of Khoy city)
AbstractThe current research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effective factors in urban green space planning, as well as identifying the quantitative and qualitative indicators of urban green space in the region 1 of Khoy city. The current research method is applied and its approach is descriptive and analytical. The analysis of the questionnaires was done using SPSS software, also GIS maps and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) were used to analyze the research findings, and Expert Choice software was used to apply the hierarchical analysis process.The results of the research show that among the examined components, the physical component with the accessibility criterion has the most impact in urban green space planning in Region 1. The findings of the research show that the number of parks and green spaces in the region is lacking both quantitatively and per capita. The distribution of green spaces, especially parks, has been done unfairly, therefore; District 7 was prioritized for urban green space planning.Keywords: Urban green space, green space planning, quantitative and qualitative indicators, Khoy city
