Identifying and Ranking the impact of social networks on cultural changes with emphasis on lifestyle

Abstract:
Today, social networks promote different types of lifestyles, and sometimes the ideal types are heavily promoted from the point of view of the designers of these networks. It is obvious that this range of lifestyles is much wider than the lifestyle that people in reality fit into and face in their daily lives. In this regard, the current research has been conducted with the aim of identifying and the impact of social networks on lifestyle in one of the country's universities .This applied research was done with sequential mixed method (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population in the qualitative part of experts professors and students of the desired university. The statistical sample was obtained by snowball sampling and equal to 20 people. The obtained information was collected by semi-structured interview and analyzed by thematic analysis method. Then the obtained factors were validated. The statistical population in the quantitative part was the professors and employees of the university, whose data was collected by the questionnaire method and using the structural equation model in the P.L.S software was analyzed. Findings shoewd that the identified antecedents impact of social networks on lifestyle were categorized into three main categories: beliefs and convictions (belief in God, moral belief, identity and self-belief), values and norms (work values, family values) and behavioral factors and symbols (fashion, consumption, social duties, social responsibility).. Quantitative findings also showed that the classification done can be confirmed. The ranking of the influence of these factors is beliefs, values and behaviora. Paying attention to social networks can help improve the lifestyle of students. Paying attention to this issue in these universities will improve the mental health of students, promote dynamism and vitality in these environments
