Predicting job satisfaction based on metacognitive beliefs and quality of commitment in municipal employees
Employment is an inevitable necessity for the survival and survival of society, and therefore, in the development of today's industrial society, satisfaction with employment or job satisfaction is very important. The purpose of this research is to predict job satisfaction based on metacognitive beliefs and quality of commitment in municipal employees. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of conducting method. In order to collect the necessary data for the research, Wells' Metacognition Questionnaire (1997), Allen and Meier's Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (1990) and Barry Field and Ruth's Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (1951) were used and the necessary information was collected. The statistical population of this research was made up of all administrative employees of Tehran city, whose number is about 5000 people, based on Cochran's formula, a sample size of 357 people was determined, which was distributed using random cluster sampling method. In the data analysis section, research hypotheses were examined using Pearson's correlation test and regression in SPSS25 software. The results showed that job satisfaction is predicted based on metacognitive beliefs and commitment quality in municipal employees.
