Study of the effect of leadership style of service of FARAJA commanders and managers on the desire for change in the police headquarters of Khorasan shomali province
The purpose of this study is the effect of service leadership style of FARAJA commanders and managers on the desire for change. This research is applied in terms of the purpose of the research, descriptive and correlational in terms of the type of method, and in terms of data collection method, the research method is field-based. The statistical population of the study consists of all employees of the police headquarters of Khorasan shomali province, which is a statistical sample of 173 people. To collect research data, Taylor Servant Leadership Leadership Questionnaire (2002) and Dunhamon et al. (1989) Standard Desire for Change Questionnaire were used. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by respected professors and its reliability was obtained using Cronbach's alpha formula for the service leadership questionnaire of 0.84 and the desire to change questionnaire of 0.92, respectively. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, correlation coefficient, regression and Friedman were used to analyze the data using SPSS software. Findings show that servant leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the desire to change. Also, the dimensions of servant leadership style have a positive and significant effect on the desire to change. According to Friedman test, the highest mean was for insight and then empowerment, altruism and finally social love.
