Devising the Pattern of Attachment Style and Social Compatibility of the Students in Alborz Physical Education Vocational Schools

The purpose of this study was to devise the pattern of attachment style andsocial adjustment of students in Alborz province Physical EducationVocational schools. The research method was correlation-descriptive whichwas performed as a field study. The population of the study consisted of thestudents in Alborz province Physical Education Vocational schools. UsingCochran formula, the samples of the study were estimated to be 462 peoplethat were selected by random sampling. In order to collect the data, attachmentinventory (by Scrima, 2020) and social adjustment questionnaire (by Monetal., 2002) were used. In order to analyze the data, the descriptive indexes andstatistical tests of kolmogorov - Smirnov, Pearson correlation coefficient,regression analysis, and path analysis in SPSS and Lisrel software were used.The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship betweenattachment style, secure, avoidant, ambivalent components and socialadjustment. Also, avoidant and ambivalent styles are eligible for socialadjustment. On the other hand, the results of path analysis showed thatattachment style has a positive and significant effect on students' socialadjustment ( t - value = 0.83 ) .
