Investigating the underlying factors and crimes of alcohol consumption among young people in the resorts of Savadkooh city

The purpose of this research is to investigate the crimes and motivational factors for the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the recreation areas of Savadkooh city, which is of a practical nature in terms of the purpose.

The current research is of a descriptive type, which is carried out with a practical purpose and a survey method. The statistical population of this work consists of all young tourists in the resorts of Swadkoh city, among them 210 young people aged 20 to 40. They were selected based on Cochran formula and with the purposeful sampling method and from various resorts of savadkooh city. To collect the required data from a questionnaire whose content validity has been confirmed by experts, which is 0.71. Also, the data are analyzed using hierarchical analysis.

Findings and results of the research: 

The final results indicate that the spread of illicit relationships and acts contrary to chastity, the spread of crimes and social vices, carrying out prohibited transactions of buying and selling alcoholic beverages ranked first to third among crimes and weakness in religious beliefs and convictions, hanging out with unscrupulous friends. Moreover, being deprived of educating healthy life skills in school and university regarding the injuries and complications caused by its consumption are among the motivating factors in the first to third ranks.
