The Islamic Revolution in three Directions; Identifying the Centers of Crises According to Imam Khomeini.

Message:
Abstract:
The article offers a picture of the Islamic Revolution as a discourse and introduces an independent and practical identity of it founded upon those bases set by Imam Khomeini,s school namely the three pillars of faith, religious democracy and efficiency. While the raison d,etre of the Islamic Revolution is due to its confrontion with atheistic beliefs, its other functions rely on the functional pattern shaped by its specific discourse in proportion to the exigencies of modern times and its capacity in the management of the problems. Thus one can get to a ground for understanding possible crises which can be summed up under the three above – mentioned categories. The second part of the article discusses the possible triple crises for the Islamic Rovolution discourse which are: crisis of meaning, crisis of structure, and crisis of management. To this end, it identifies and introduces those political and social phenomena which paved the way for those crises. In the view of Imam Khomeini those are events such as cultural domination, cultural frustration, the weakening of republicanism and Islamism, costs of ideology and strategic restrictions of the country.
