Bibliography of proverbs

This bibliography introduces 350 books and 105 articles. Amony the books, some fully contain proverbs, while some others are about the people folklore of which a part is devoted to the regional proverbs. The books are arranged according to the name of books, and articles to the name of authors. The number of examples of the books brought in this collection is about 120.000 non- repeated ones.This considerable bulk represents the richness of oral folklore and cultural heritage and is a valuable treasure of Iranian proverbs. It may be doubled if the Persian proverbs in Iran are collected through a field research.
