Avesta, Pahlavi Manuscripts of Cama Oriental Institute

An important problem in Iranian studies and old Iranian culture and languages is lack of a reliable and complete catalogue of manuscripts (mss). One of the greatest institutes possessing these manuscripts is Cama Oriental Institute, where there are 400 books under the title of "Avesta-Pahlavi". The catalogue indexing the mss is incomplete and contains some flaws, though this does not degrade the mss. The flaws in the catalogue will be discussed in the preface in detail. It is hoped that this may serve as a step towards collection of a complete catalogue of Iranian mss throughout the world.
