A Study of the Internal Efficiency of Technical and Vocational Education of High School's in Shahr-e-Kord (1375-1380)

The quality of education has been at the center of decision maker’s concerns during recent years. To achieve educational quality in the process of educational planning, it is necessary to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of educational system. This study has examined the internal efficiency of technical and vocational education of high school’s in shahr-e-kord. To do so, educational covering rate, promotion rate, dropout rate, suruival rate, graduation rate, wastage ratio, coefficent of efficiency, and average of academic period, have been studied as internal efficiencies indicators. The descriptive – evaluation approach has been used in this study. The statistical population has been all of the technical and vocational high school’s students(10146 persons) in shahr-e-kord. For gathering information in this study, we have got help from educational files, database information and statistics year books available in shahr-e-kord. The findings of the study have showed that the educational covering rate of technical and vocational education was 14/1 percent of total secondary education, the promotion rate was 75.77 percent, the dropout rate was 33.68 percent, the survival rate was 66.32 percent, the graduates rate was 51.7 percent, the wastage ratio was 1.43, coefficient of efficiency was. /7 and the average of academic period was 3.56 years.
