The study of psychological and social Characteristics (psycho-social) of wives of addicted men and their methods of comparison with addiction of their husband

Basic object of this study is “survey on psychial and social (psycho-social) characteristics of wives of addicted men and their methods of comparison with addiction of their husband”. This study is a descriptive – measurement survey on 180 samples (wives of addicted men) who had been refered to “addiction abandondum patients center”. Data collection was done by questionnaire of “General Health” (GHQ) and comparison methods. The hypothesises of this study are: 1- Having relation between wives of addicted men psychial and personality (individual) characteristics and their husbands characteristics. 2- Having relation between addicted men wives comparison methods and social – personality characteristics and their husbands’ characteristics. 3- Having relation between psychial characteristics and comparison methods of spouses of addicted. Data analysed with correlation index of Pierson and results showed: - Between age and suicide intent, spouse age and suicide intent, educational and social activity disorder and depression, spouse education and body injury, social activity disorder and depression, occupation and social activity disorder and depression, was significant indirect relation. – Between age and finding social – intellectual support, feeling and behaviour relation nonefficient, spouse age and decrease of tension and aversion expression, finding social – intellectual support, and feeling and behaviour relation nonefficient, spouse occupation and active encounter with spouse and deppended materials, was significant indirect relation. – Between occupation and active encounter with spouse and deppended materials, numbers of offspring and independence, was significant direct relation.
