The U.S. Energy Policy

Bush announced in several national speeches during 2006 that the US was addicted to oil and it was dependent on energy supply from unstable regions. Although, there is a general consensus among American Strategists on the dangers of this dependency, but they do not have similar recommendations in this regard. Accordingly, there are a lot of questions on the efficiency of the Bush energy policy. It seems that the Bush administration has recognized the energy challenges of the U.S. but could not plan and fulfill an proper policy to cope with these challenges. This article analyzes the different aspects of the Bush energy policy.
