Conducts of the Prophet: The pathology of government

“Pathology of government” means identifying and analyzing the actual and potential impairments in the foundations, structure, or functions of a government. Islamic government, too, like any other government, has a rise, an expansion, and a fall. The holy prophet of Islam has always warned the people of the impairments of governments so that they face less political, economical, cultural, and judicial problems and that, in case faced with such problem, they would be able to solve them. In addition, he never considered politics original, instead, regarded it dependent on morality and spirituality. The key to his success was his outstanding moral convictions. If fact, it was due to these moral and spiritual convictions that Islam turned into a great power. The Prophet not only warns authorities against political endangerments but introduces people as supervisors of their conducts. The people are both a source of information for him and a means of political control over authorities. The rich higher class, in addition to being politically conservative, is the source of economical problems for the Islamic government. Economical justice is possible only in the light of anti-poverty campaigns and removal of wealth concentration. Proposing the principle of equality and social justice, he fought against all aspects of polytheism. The organs of a society, like body organs, are influenced by one another and, as a result, the Islamic society forms a unified whole. Although the Prophet did not succeed in organizing a cohesive judiciary system, he proposed some basic guidelines on the basis of which one can identify the most important judicial impairments.
