The analysis of Management factors of corn growers in Kerman province ‎

To determine the effective factors on yield performance of corn, 40 corn growers were selected using two ‎stages sampling method from Orzooeyeh in Kerman province. Data were collected by questionnaires and ‎interview. Frontier production function and technical unefficiency function were estimated with Front. 4 ‎software.‎ Using Dalinous method the selected corn growers divided to three groups according to their yield ‎performance.‎ Analyze of variance and T-test showed that socio-economics factors (Kind of ownership and fragment ‎experience, education and cultivated area) were the most effective factors on difference of yield performance. ‎According to the results, the average of technical efficiency for landowners and non-landowners were 58 and ‎‎46% respectively.‎
