In this article, the author mentions the importance of reading records and divides records into four main categories. After that he briefly explains five issues which are essential for presenting any record. The Author also explains that in the east, and especially in countries such as Iran, Turkey, and Japan, reforms have been started by shaping armies in the European style. It is also mentioned that the measures of Iranians for military reform have been done through three stages: Russo- Persian wars, prime ministry of Amirkabir, ministry and prime ministry of Mirza Hossein Khan. The procedure of manufacturing weapons in the Qajar era and the role of foreign governments in this procedure are also explained.
