Abstract:
I will elaborate on the ideas of Rene Guenon, the Muslim intellectual, about the nature of modernity. In fact, the paper wants to explain whether modernity, from the viewpoint of Rene Guenon, has a positive or negative nature. Undoubtedly, he is one of the critics of modernity and I will try to analyze his ideas on the basis of Thomas Springs’ model.
