The Historicality of Understanding in Gadamer

Historicism is one of the subjects that effect epistemological studies and I have elaborately discussed in another article. Since the contemporary German scholar, Gadamer (1900-2002), following his professor Heidegger, has presented his last and main sayings regarding historicality of the essence of human’s being, followed by historicality of his understanding, we will investigate and criticize his ideas in this field. After inspecting Gadamer’s ideas, this article has pointed out about twenty seven problems and ambiguities in his words.
