China - India Relations: Cooperation and Competition

Abstract:
China and India as two Asian powers- have a special view to their relations. The new trend in relationship between these two countries is based on ideas of new generation of leaders in an attempt to settle old differences and set up a new trend of relationship. This became a new season in mutual strategic cooperation between two Asian powers. India’s high potential in pluralism, as the world's greatest democracy, is the powerful element encouraging rapid economic growth and increasing the potential capabilities along with the large number of population, human resources, and other rich resources. China on the other hand, with a high per capita and economic power, is in the proper position in international scene. Cooperation and wide interaction between these major powers may result in a new situation not only in the region but also in the world.
