From women's drug addiction to family disorders

Imposing severe harm to the structure of family and society, drug addiction is a widespread social deviation at the present time to which thousands fall victim every year. Though drug addiction is more common among men than among women, the rate of addiction among women has also increased for a number of reasons. This paper is to explain the causes and the unpleasant aftermaths of women's drug addiction (irrespective of the aftermaths in common with men's drug addiction) on the basis of family relationships, the functions and stability of family, etc. Finally, practical strategies are proposed to prevent drug addiction among women.
