Abstract:
The present article addresses the theoretical principles of correcting consumption patterns as a prelude to an ideal pattern. The writer regards the acceptance of divine guardianship, belief in social equality, controlling carnal pleasures, and being content1 as among the theoretical principles of correcting consumption patterns, which are touched upon with reference to the Quran and tradition.
