Thinking Style of the Managers and Its Componenets in Islamic Azad University
The main purpose of the present study is to investigate thinking style and its components among the managers in Islamic Azad University. The population included all the managers in Islamic Azad Universiy out of which 540 were selected applying stratified random sampling. To collect data, Sternberg’s thinking style questionnaire was administered . One – way ANOVA and LSD test indicate that there is a meaningful difference between thinking styles of the managers in different districts of the university in Iran.Also, there is a significant difference between legislative style, executive style, and introversion as components of thinking style in different districts.Moreover, no significant difference was traced between judicial style, visionary and detailed thinking, and introversion in different districts.
