The relationship between Relationship of dry matter accumulation process and distribution of macronutrients and micronutrients elements in different parts of spike and spikelet in two cultivars of wheat

Abstract:
Little is known about the uptaken nutrients distribution and their relationships with process the tendency of dry matter accumulation within the spike of wheat, whereas such findings are important for increasing grain yield without quality loss. this information is very important for increasing grain yield without any negative effect in quality of grain. In this research, we aimed to at identfying are try to understand the distribution of macro elementsnutrients like calsium (Ca) and potassium ((K, Ca) and micro elementsnutrients like Manganese (Mn) and zinc (, Zn) in different parts of spike (distal, middle and proximal) and, as well as different types of grains per spikelet (large and small seeds) during the duration of grain filling period in two different varieties of wheat named: including, Mahdavi and Falat. The rResults have showenshowed that the highest highest grain weight was obtained for the grains weight in the central part of spike in comparisonas compared to with the proximal and distal parts of spike. Mn and Zn concentrations were decreased during the grain filling in all the three parts of the spike. There was a positive correlation between grains weight and concentration of and macro – micro elemntsnutrients at various parts of spikeconcentration in spike. This correlation was stronger relation was higher in the central part of spikeas compared other, as compare to the other parts of spike (apical top and basebasal). There was a considerable decrease of Mn and Zn in the seeds produced at the top of spike. However, a low concentration of elements in relation to the position of seeds on the spiklet was more remarkable than of that in the spike. There was no significant differences between two varieteis examined in this study in respect of nutrient distribution along the In this study different types of grains have not shown any difference in distribution of macro- and micro nutrient in rachis andas well as in rachilla.
