Gross-Sectional Job Analysis of Organizational Climate in Steel Industry

Abstract:

One of the important aspects in organizational behavior is organizational climate. While organizational climate is conceptualized as a characteristic of organizations which is reflected in the descriptions employees make of the policies, practices and conditions which exist in the environment. Organizational climate is reflected beliefs that employees make of the organization. The purpose of this study is to examine cross- sectional of organizational climate in steel industry>. The sample includes technical specialist, nontechnical specialist, technician and administrative people. The data collected through climate instruments is subjected. The instrument organizational climate is Litwin & Stringer questionnaire. The overall finding of this study is that agreemen people on organizational climate different. Technical specialist agreemen more than other people. The most dispersal opinion is nontechnical specialist. According to a case study in steel industry, it was found out that which organizational climate technical specialist, nontechnical specialist, technician and administrative people is different.
